Note: The fine white dust you might see on the surface of our dehydrated calamari treats is simply sea salt left behind during dehydration. It’s a sign of high-quality calamari that has been carefully and efficiently processed. Unlike fish, calamari don’t regulate their internal salt concentrations, so their salt content matches that of seawater. During dehydration, as the water evaporates, the salt remains on the surface.
